Automated Dual-cell HTHP Consistometer

CTI-8040D Dual-cell HTHP consistometer is specially designed to measure the thickening time of oil well cements under simulated down-hole pressures and temperatures. The Model CTI-8040D offers a computerized Data Acquisition and Control system, automatic temperature and pressure control, and a variable speed motor all standard in one easy-to-use unit. And the CTI-8040D can be used to prepare slurries for the measurement of free water content, viscosity, fluid loss, and rheological and various other properties. A chart recorder for programming temperature control and display of current test results in real time.

The Model CTI-8040D can simultaneously perform two independent cement thickening behavior tests under a variety of downhole well conditions, used in laboratories involved with oil well cement research programs, research and testing of cement additives, cement manufacturers’ quality assurance programs, and the research and field labs of well servicing companies.

CTI-5270 data acquisition system includes:

 Signals from sensors of pressure, temperature and consistency can by acquired through the CTI-5270 data acquisition system and then sent to be processed after arithmetic processing, realizing displays of values of time, consistency, pressure and temperature. Curves can be displayed and data can be stored. RS-232 interface is communicated with PC. Alarming for pressure, temperature and consistency is provided.

Method and Standard of Inspection and Acceptance

Method:

 After the instrument is sent to the destination, the purchaser notifies the supplier, and the supplier goes to the destination to install and adjust the instrument, including inspection and acceptance. The standard is as follows. After installation and adjustment, a free on-site training is provided until the engineers of the customer can well operate the instrument. After training, the purchaser should provide a certificate of inspection and acceptance.

Standard:

 The supplier promises to provide the instrument meeting the above specifications and related API requirements.

Quality Assurance and After-sale Services

The warranty period is 12 months after the instrument is inspected and accepted. Within the warranty period, the supplier provides free maintenance in China (except recommended spares and consumable items). Beyond the warranty period, the supplier provides lifetime paid service for system maintenance and consumable items.
