2 inch Brass cube molds

Laboratory cement testing requires that all sorts of different shaped samples be analyzed to discover properties such as compressive strength, tensile strength, uniaxial strength, permeability, expansion coefficient, settling rate, and many more. Cement molds provide customers with accurately engineered and manufactured solutions for physical properties testing.

2 inch cube molds are made in accordance to API Specification 10. The cube molds may be used in pressurized or non-pressurized curing chambers or baths. The cube molds are cast and machined from high quality brass. Non-corrosive, stainless steel bolts, plates, center tubes, and handles are ultra durable and will last a very long time with proper handling and maintenance. Each stack of molds produces two 2” cube specimens. Each stack contains 2 L’s and 1 T which can be disassembled after a test, cleaned and then reassembled. Thin grooves are milled onto one side of the separation plates to allow fluid pressure penetration into the cement sample. The cube mold sets are designed primarily to stand up and placed using the supplied T-handle. An optional stainless steel bucket is available for water/oil separation testing requirements.
